Where to start with Cataclysm?

If you’re like me you’ve left WoW alone for a while and are jumping back into the saddle.  It took me some time to get everything back together.

I grabbed a couple of quests from Dalaran and purchased my flying in the started zones for 200 gold.  You will want to make sure that you do this.

I began my journey by heading to Stormwind to talk to the Shaman in the top right of the map.  You will have to click on the bird bath and watch a short cinematic.

Once you’ve completed the quest chain in Stormwind you will want to head to the northernmost dock in the harbor.

A boat will come and take you to Vashj’ir.  Here you will work with the soldiers of Stormwind to fight off the creatures of the deep.  Nothing too new here, collecting Crab meat finding equipment.  Obviously since this is one of the starter zones for the new leveling quest chains the place is PACKED with people.  Luckily Blizzard was smart enough to set the re-spawns to almost instantaneously.  You should have no trouble finding the mobs that you need.  However as we speak Horde are punching me in the balls.  Luckily the graveyard is really close and the ganking has been at a medium.

After a short while you will obtain a Seahorse mount, which is going to come in very handy unless you are fortunate enough to be a druid.  Obtaining the Seahorse mount involves an elaborate integration of what feels like Dance Dance Revolution with your fingers.
